Keszthely bay is full of varied options to choose from. The 75-year-old Csobánc nostalgia ship has one-hour cruises on the lake and there are also cruises to Szigliget and Badacsony.

The park is located in the garden-city and provides active free time activities. Here every age group can find it’s own tasks and challenges.

Sports facilities in and around Keszthely
The lake, the surrounding small fish ponds, mine lakes, Zala and other smaller rivers provide excellent opportunities for fishing. The water world is rich, nearly 40 kinds of fish can be caught (hanger, catfish, pike, carp, bream etc.).
A tennis center is operated about 300 m away from the hotel. Here you can play in winter and in summer too. Groups can book for a game as well.
Several equestrian centers are in about 3 km of distance from the hotel. The horse lovers have the opportunity to learn, practice and take part in riding tours.
- Nordic Walking
On the northern part of the lake more than 1000 km long marked hiking trails and bike paths weave around the Lake Balaton that is excellent for trips in the nature. More specialized nature trails can be found in the region, which present several demonstration boards illustrating the landscape of wildlife.
There is a 200 km long bicycle route around the lake. Its section near Keszthely offers an unmatched experience, as it crosses over the Zala River and passes through Fenékpuszta where you can see the ruins of the former Roman fortress,called Castrum, not to mention its overlook to the lake. In addition, it’s worth visiting Hévíz and the surrounding mountains, the Zala valley, the Lake Cave in Tapolca, and also the Small-Balaton.
The 73-km-long lake provides a unique opportunity for sailing enthusiasts. Well-equipped ports are there for you to enjoy your hobby on your own or on a hired sailing-boat.
